120 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE
FOR LUCY'S BIRTHDAY!
Final Total is 1028 1/2 Hours!!!!

We did this last year and it was a huge success!  It generated heaps of good feelings for Lucy, for the people we helped and for ourselves.  Reaching out a helping hand to our family, friends, community and the world gets those "feel good" hormones flowing.  And we sure had a flood of them last year.  So let's see what we can do this year!

For anyone who wants to participate, send me an email (subject 120 Hours) with your name, state, country, service you did, date in March (from March 1 - 31, 2013) of the service and number of hours you put in.  I’ll keep a running tally at the top of this website as well as a page listing the emails with your info and we’ll see if we can hit our own 120 hours of community service by her birthday.  It can be helping the environment, neighbors, kids, elderly, animals, park cleanup, AIDS projects, food pantry, school volunteer, animal shelter, anti-bullying project -- anything at all that helps the people in your family, neighborhood, town, city, etc.  Each person does however many hours they can this month and we total all our hours up together to see if we can hit 120.  Here's a link to last year's "Hours" if you want some hints of what to do.  You folks are always so inventive.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  What do you think?  Are you in?
